Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. (RBH), a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, is seeking a Senior Executive Communications professional. This role is central to driving the company’s transformation through strategic external communication, presenting the company to the public and working closely with internal leadership.
What You'll Do
- Strategically plan and implement corporate PR measures as the communication lead for Corporate Affairs, with responsibility for political, economic, and site/CSR topics.
- Collaborate with headquarters and international colleagues on campaign and topic steering.
- Develop and launch target-group-specific content across print, online, and social media channels.
- Conceptualize and execute PR work, including press releases, interview briefings, Q&A research, and editorial content.
- Act as a press spokesperson and manage media relations in your designated areas.
- Provide communication support for external events, including speaker placements for C-level executives.
- Support the creation of a holistic communication strategy and cross-channel editorial plan.
- Monitor and steer KPIs and press work performance in collaboration with agencies, creating reports and implementing data-driven learnings.
- Maintain and expand a network of press contacts.
- Optionally plan and coordinate events.
What We're Looking For
- A completed degree in PR, journalism, communications, or a similar field.
- Several years of professional experience as a PR consultant or communications manager in a strategic PR agency or corporate communications department.
- Enthusiasm for content development in corporate transformation, business PR, CSR, and politics.
- Proven ability in strategic campaign planning and independent implementation.
- A strong media network.
- The ability to convincingly and clearly present complex contexts.
- A hands-on mentality with end-to-end ownership for your topics and projects.
- Strong communication skills combined with high teamwork skills and proactivity.
- An independent, responsible, quality-oriented, and structured way of working.
- A versatile writing style.
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office applications: PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written.
