SRG Global Mining Services is hiring a Senior Estimator to support our growing pipeline of civil works. In this role, you will leverage your strong experience in Transport and Main Roads (TMR) infrastructure to prepare competitive tender submissions, develop delivery methodologies, and contribute to bid strategies for major road and civil infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do
- Lead accurate, competitive tender submissions for civil infrastructure projects, reviewing documentation and preparing detailed cost estimates.
- Develop construction methodologies, staging, and traffic management strategies that deliver safe, efficient, and buildable outcomes.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, recommending appropriate allowances and value-engineering solutions to strengthen commercial outcomes.
- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and build strong industry partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams and senior leadership to shape bid strategy, ensuring innovative, commercially sound, and on-time submissions, particularly for TMR projects.
What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years’ experience in civil construction estimating or project delivery, with expertise in road and TMR projects.
- Proven track record in estimating or delivering large-scale civil projects valued at $20M+.
- Demonstrated experience with TMR standards, specifications, and tendering requirements.
- Strong commercial acumen, capable of influencing bid strategy and project outcomes.
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to undertake site visits.
