As the Senior Email Operations Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end performance of email systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with business goals. Your responsibilities include managing email deliverability, infrastructure, and automation workflows to support large-scale campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize email deliverability, inbox placement, and sender reputation across multiple domains and IP pools
- Lead the configuration and maintenance of email service platforms, ensuring uptime and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and data teams to implement secure, efficient email processes
- Develop and enforce email operations policies, including authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and compliance with privacy regulations
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues affecting email deployment, tracking, or reporting accuracy
- Guide internal teams on best practices for segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle messaging
Qualifications
Candidates should bring a strong technical background in email systems and a proven ability to manage complex email infrastructures. You must have experience with email service providers, data integrations, and cross-functional leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in email operations, marketing technology, or related role
- Deep knowledge of SMTP, DNS, email authentication, and anti-spam frameworks
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SendGrid, or similar
