Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end printed circuit board development, from requirements gathering through schematic creation, component selection, layout oversight, testing, debugging, and integration
  • Diagnose complex technical issues spanning electrical and software domains using laboratory instruments like oscilloscopes and digital multimeters, along with basic software debugging tools
  • Design and develop mission-critical payloads and subsystems such as sensors, interface electronics, power systems, and communication networks
  • Create system interconnection diagrams and specify wiring harnesses that link electronic components within subsystems
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineering teams to deliver fully operational systems
  • Operate effectively in a high-velocity environment focused on rapid prototyping and customer-deployed hardware support
  • Participate in peer and cross-functional design reviews to ensure design quality and technical alignment
  • Support the integration and testing of autonomous underwater vehicle systems across technology readiness levels 3 through 8
  • Perform system-level design and analysis of vehicle platforms as required by program needs
  • Lead design validation efforts, analyze system requirements, and plan verification strategies to meet project objectives and industry standards
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product lifecycle from concept through integration and testing
