The Nielsen Company is hiring a Senior Director, Product Marketing to lead the global go-to-market strategy for our suite of analytics and data solutions. You will be the primary architect of the product narrative, positioning Nielsen's capabilities as essential tools for the modern media landscape and navigating the transition from tradition to innovation.
What You'll Do
- Define and lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Nielsen’s analytics portfolio.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex, legacy technical architectures into streamlined, benefit-oriented value propositions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product leadership to ensure organizational alignment and develop high-impact sales toolkits and training.
- Serve as the 'voice of the market' within the organization, conducting competitive analysis and customer research to influence product innovation.
- Manage the product marketing budget and resource allocation, establishing KPIs to measure impact.
- Lead integrated efforts with Demand Gen, Content, and PR to ensure consistent global messaging.
- Lead, recruit, and develop a world-class team of Product Marketers.
What We're Looking For
- 12+ years of experience in Product Marketing, with a significant portion dedicated to large-scale B2B, data analytics, or media technology.
- 6+ years of people management experience, with a proven track record of managing other managers.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams through simplifying complex technical products or legacy systems for a commercial audience.
- Able to translate complex products into clear value propositions with customer in mind.
- Exceptional ability to influence senior stakeholders and craft compelling narratives.
- High level of comfort navigating technical environments, including API-driven architectures and cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to look beyond immediate product features to shape long-term category-level positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
