About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Senior Director, Premium Brands to drive the future of our premium portfolio. This strategic leader will translate global brand vision into actionable strategies and long-term plans, making enterprise-level decisions that balance ambition with commercial performance. You'll have direct brand responsibility and partner with continent teams to monitor and improve Brand Health metrics.

What You'll Do

  • Define and maintain brand positioning for assigned brands, ensuring alignment with global strategy while enabling appropriate local flexibility.
  • Develop compelling, differentiated brand strategies informed by consumer insights, competitive analysis, and commercial realities.
  • Support creation of strategic brand business plans, including economic strategy, product/service models, and value proposition.
  • Define and manage brand initiatives through execution across continents, ensuring strategic pull-through and accountability.
  • Define brand performance metrics and recommend targets aligned to brand health and business growth objectives.
  • Monitor performance for assigned brands, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-driven recommendations to course-correct.
  • Serve as brand advocate, educating stakeholders on brand strategy, positioning, and strategic pillars to build shared understanding.
  • Represent the brand in external forums, reviewing and evolving standards and operational practices with credibility among owners and partners.
  • Lead new product creation/integration for the Premium category from concept through sustained market performance.
  • Play point across product and customer teams to ensure new brands are positioned, launched, and sustained effectively.
  • Serve as primary liaison between global leadership and continent teams, supporting communication strategies and integration plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to shape and implement brand initiatives through influence, executive presence, and storytelling.
  • Leverage consumer insights, market trends, and data analytics to identify opportunities for innovative products and experiences.
  • Lead brand-specific innovation projects and support integration within global guardrails ensuring solutions are scalable.
  • Partner with cross-discipline teams to ensure new products and initiatives are operationally feasible, scalable, and aligned with brand strategy.
  • Translate global vision into actionable team strategies, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and clear ownership of results.
  • Inspire and lead high-performing teams, fostering innovation and excellence while developing future brand leaders.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and learning across the team.

What We're Looking For

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience demonstrating career growth and exceptional performance.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic brand plans and multi-year business strategies with clear performance outcomes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-brand initiatives in highly matrixed, global environments.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging consumer insights and market data to inform strategy and prioritize initiatives.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Experience collaborating with continent/business teams to drive initiatives and align competing priorities.
  • Track record of delivering results in complex, ambiguous environments requiring strong judgment, decisiveness, and influence.
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen, including evaluating trade-offs between brand value, owner economics, and enterprise ROI.

Team & Environment

You'll work closely with continent and discipline teams, serving as the primary liaison between global leadership and continent teams.
