Ornua is seeking a Senior Director, Market Insights & Analytics to build and lead a high-performing team responsible for shaping how the business sees the market. This role serves as the enterprise hub for intelligence, translating consumer, category, and performance data into clear strategic direction that drives growth and embeds analytics into brand strategy, innovation, planning, and commercial execution.
What You'll Do
- Build and lead a team responsible for next-gen measurement tools, modernizing reporting, driving research programs, and leading forecasting and modeling.
- Partner closely with senior executives to spot growth opportunities, refine strategic plans, and guide investment decisions.
- Translate complex insights for VP and C-suite stakeholders and drive alignment across Marketing, Sales, Innovation, and Finance teams.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, analytical rigor, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Develop and lead a team that builds tools and models which inform long-range strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, data science or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across Insights, Analytics, Consumer Research, or Strategy in an FMCG company or agency.
- Proven experience leading teams and developing talent at a manager or director level.
- Significant hands-on expertise with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI/Circana, SPINS), measurement frameworks, forecasting models, and qual/quant methodologies.
- Strong ability to influence executive-level decision makers and guide strategic discussions.
- Ability to lift insights into compelling stories and translate complex information into clear, persuasive recommendations.
- Experience implementing analytics transformation initiatives.
