APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is looking for a Manager of Production Office to lead our administrative staff and optimize service levels across our production network. This role requires a leader who can analyze workflows, drive process improvements, and collaborate effectively with multiple departments to achieve strategic goals.
What You'll Do
- Manage and lead production office employees across 7 total production locations.
- Create the annual department plan and ensure optimal service levels by planning staff deployment.
- Monitor that all administrative tasks are performed correctly and oversee inventory counts and location processes.
- Utilize technological tools to simplify processes and improve efficiency.
- Analyze work processes to identify bottlenecks and coordinate with Plant Managers, Purchasing, Logistics, and Sales for joint optimizations.
- Develop and implement projects based on strategic choices and initiate cross-departmental working groups to improve logistical processes.
- Act as a key user in consultation formats, assess escalations, and work with teams to find appropriate solutions.
What We're Looking For
- HBO-level thinking and working level (e.g., Logistics Management or Engineering).
- Demonstrated knowledge of production processes and administrative work.
- Some practical experience in a production environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the construction or concrete industry.
