What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of valuation professionals, focusing on workflow oversight and delivering accurate, timely results for institutional clients
- Originate new business opportunities in collaboration with leadership, targeting key investors such as REITs, pension funds, and sovereign wealth entities
- Conduct property inspections selectively—primarily for top-tier clients or when coaching junior staff—to support client relationships and team development
- Represent the firm at industry events, attending a minimum of two commercial real estate gatherings annually to strengthen visibility and connections
- Contribute to organizational leadership by serving on one external committee or board through professional groups such as AI, IRWA, or ULI
- Model core values of optimism, intelligence, and collaboration in all client and internal interactions
- Coach and collaborate with analysts, associates, and directors to ensure assignments are completed effectively and efficiently
- Support recruitment initiatives to build a strong, capable team aligned with practice goals
Requirements
- Hold a state-certified general appraiser license and maintain active status across multiple jurisdictions as needed
- Have at least three years of continuous CG licensure
- Be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Possess proven experience with Argus Enterprise for financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Demonstrate ability to manage valuations across diverse asset types and geographic markets
- Obtain temporary practice permits when required for out-of-state assignments
- Directly supervise up to four team members, providing guidance and performance feedback
- Take responsibility for signing valuation reports with accuracy and integrity
