The Technical Project Manager I plays a key role in driving project execution with clarity and consistency. This position ensures smooth coordination across technical teams and client stakeholders by maintaining structured workflows, accurate documentation, and proactive communication. As a day-to-day point of contact, you'll help keep complex implementations on track across diverse environments and time zones.
What You'll Do
- Track project scope, schedules, and interdependencies to maintain reliable execution
- Facilitate clear communication of deliverables, timelines, and risks across teams
- Document decisions, action items, and handoffs with precision
- Identify coordination challenges early and provide context for resolution
- Prepare status updates and inputs for business and health reviews
- Support client engagement activities and contribute to proposal efforts
- Participate in troubleshooting by routing issues and monitoring progress
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing initiatives
- Maintain CRM records and client contact details for continuity
- Collaborate on scope changes and agreement documentation as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of four years in project coordination or management within AEC or professional services
- Proven ability to manage defined project work with minimal rework
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and concurrent priorities
- Solid understanding of scope, scheduling, and delivery coordination principles
- Commitment to accurate documentation, time tracking, and workflow adherence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical implementation or cross-functional project support
- Certifications such as CAPM, PMP, or CDT are considered advantageous
