Workday seeks a Senior Director, Forward Deployed Experience Solution Consulting to lead the industry-verticalized team in North America. You will partner directly with current customers and prospects to discover and build solutions that drive unique business outcomes delivered by Workday's AI offerings. This role serves as a strategic field leader and key member of the Growth and Customer Experience Leadership and NA Revenue leadership teams.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a strategic problem solver, articulating a compelling, long-term vision for the future of the Forward Deployed Experience teams and positioning the transformational impact of Workday AI solutions.
- Engage and align with other Solution Consulting, Value, Industry and Global Demo Readiness teams to ensure collaboration and sharing of methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales leadership, solution consulting leadership, partners, HR, Finance, enablement, solution architecture, product management, marketing, AI strategy, and others by active listening and working together to create scalable plans.
- Meet with key channel partners, system integrators, customers, and internal teams.
- Lead communication, coordination and alignment of Solution Consulting plans and programs.
- Hire and retain top talent, assist team members in growing their careers, and coach them on execution.
- Proactively manage performance to ensure coverage, career advancement, and effective succession planning.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership position, ideally leading a solution consulting organization within an enterprise.
- 6+ years of Workday Platform experience.
- 8+ years of relevant AI experience.
- Deep experience with HR, Financials, Analytics and Platform technologies with a particular focus on AI.
- Strong familiarity with Workday Platform, including Workday Human Capital Management and Workday Financial Management.
- Strong track record of exceeding company sales quotas in a complex sales environment.
- Proven leadership ability to inspire, influence, mentor and empower teams to achieve objectives.
- Experience developing and delivering on a Solution Consulting Go-to-Market plan to expand into new markets and drive innovation.
- Commitment to a performance-focused culture of accountability and transparency.
- Ability to build coalitions and rally support cross-organizationally.
- Willing to travel as needed, up to 50%.

- Proven success in leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.

- Excellent active listening and C-level written and verbal communication skills.
- Consulting expertise including current state analysis and recommendations using architecture diagrams, technology roadmaps, and business cases.
- Deep understanding of Workday products/services and the ability to identify customer needs, deliver compelling presentations, and effectively address inquiries to drive sales growth.

You will lead the Forward Deployed Experience Solution Consulting team as a member of the diverse and skilled North America Solution Consulting team. This role sits at the intersection of the Sales Organization, Product & Technology, Solution Architecture, Consulting Services, and Value Management teams.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $215,300 USD - $322,900 USD + equity.
- May be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
