Gartner, Inc. is looking for a Senior Director (Associate Partner), IT Strategy Consulting to sustain and grow relationships with a portfolio of clients in the State & Local Government sector. In this role, you will advise at the highest strategic level on how technology enables critical business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Sustain and grow Gartner Consulting’s relationship with a defined portfolio of clients.
- Advise clients at the highest strategic level on both big-picture and tactical matters, showcasing how technology enables a wide range of business outcomes.
- Collaborate with Expert Partners, Managing Partners and others to deliver the best solutions.
- Manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
- Inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds towards a common goal.
- Provide constructive feedback to ensure team success.
- Adapt Gartner frameworks and methodologies to solve clients' most pressing business challenges.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a well-regarded management consultancy in project delivery and sales capacity.
- Experience working with state and local government clients, specifically in the Bay Area (e.g., Santa Clara County, San Mateo County, City of San Jose).
- Consistent track record of leading people and building high-performing teams that leverage technology to drive the mission-critical priorities of government entities.
- Experience working with multiple IT solutions.
- Ability to inspire and motivate professionals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
- Unwavering commitment to team success and willingness to provide constructive feedback.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative development of solutions and strategies to solve client problems.
- Ability to be hands-on and manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable selling to, influencing and building trust-based, value-added relationships with senior executives.
- Coachable and embraces best practices and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Consistently high achiever marked by perseverance, humility and a positive outlook.
- Proven track record in achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a problem-solving capacity such as a solution/technical architect or analyst.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
