What You'll Do
Design and manage enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift clusters in physical and virtual on-premises environments. Lead the implementation of secure, highly available infrastructure solutions that support critical telecom services. Partner with development teams to containerize applications and refine deployment workflows for speed and stability.
Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and integrate GitOps practices with tools like ArgoCD. Use Ansible and scripting languages to automate provisioning, configuration, and routine operational tasks. Maintain and upgrade OpenShift components, ensuring compliance with change control policies.
Develop and enforce robust backup, disaster recovery, and redundancy strategies to ensure platform resilience. Enhance monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus and Grafana to proactively identify and resolve issues. Participate in on-call rotations to support platform continuity and respond to incidents as needed.
When core OpenShift workloads allow, contribute to broader infrastructure operations including Linux server management, data center support, and system maintenance. Document architecture designs, operational procedures, and runbooks to ensure knowledge sharing and operational clarity. Mentor team members and lead technical knowledge transfer sessions on OpenShift, GitLab, and related technologies.
