Distro is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and scale our infrastructure and development platforms. You'll focus on creating reliable, efficient systems that empower our engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure
- Build and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Develop and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health
- Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual toil
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline the software development lifecycle
- Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and applications
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional DevOps or SRE experience
- Proven expertise with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
