Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability, security, and efficiency of our production systems. Working remotely from India, you'll align with engineering teams across China and the US West Coast during IST business hours, ensuring seamless collaboration and continuous service performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily system operations and ensure consistent service stability
- Contribute to architectural planning with a focus on scalability, security, and long-term maintainability
- Design, implement, and refine CI/CD workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Drone
- Optimize resource utilization and system performance across cloud environments
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki to enable proactive alerting and metric tracking
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years focused on development, operations, and system maintenance
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and core computer science principles
- Proficiency in Golang or Python, along with hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Linux system administration
- Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms—AWS experience is preferred
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and system-level troubleshooting
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems, solve technical challenges, and evaluate solutions independently
- Proven ownership mindset, adaptability, and clear communication across distributed teams

Work Environment
This is a fully remote position based in India with core working hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. IST to support collaboration with teams in China and the US West Coast. We emphasize flexibility, trust, and outcomes over presence.
