Role Overview
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain robust cloud systems that power fast-moving product teams. You’ll be responsible for designing automated workflows, managing Kubernetes environments, and ensuring infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable. Your work will directly influence system performance and development efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment processes
- Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters across managed or self-hosted platforms
- Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Enhance system uptime, responsiveness, and fault tolerance across distributed services
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog
- Support deployment strategies including canary releases, rollbacks, and zero-downtime updates
- Diagnose and resolve production issues involving latency, errors, memory limits, and network configurations
- Enforce security standards for secrets, identity access, and network segmentation
- Partner with software engineers to refine deployment approaches and system architecture
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant hands-on experience
- Strong command of Linux systems and shell scripting
- Proven experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms
- Working knowledge of CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Experience writing Infrastructure as Code
- Understanding of core networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and load balancing
- Ability to debug and resolve live system issues efficiently
- Solid grasp of scalability, performance tuning, and system reliability
- Proficiency in backend or web application operations
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python
- Self-directed with the ability to lead initiatives from start to finish
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Groovy scripting
- Exposure to frontend frameworks like React or AngularJS
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
- Familiarity with Node.js environments
- Basic understanding of MongoDB
