Vanta is hiring a Senior Demo Engineer to lead the design, development, and management of our demo infrastructure and assets. You will set the standard for showcasing the platform, enabling impactful demonstrations at scale. This role drives strategy, mentors peers, and influences how our product is represented to prospects and customers.

What You'll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable demo systems and environments that reflect real-world customer scenarios.
• Define the long-term vision for demo infrastructure, including automation, repeatability, and integration with GTM workflows.
• Act as a technical and strategic partner to Solutions Engineers, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure demo alignment with customer and market needs.
• Establish best practices to ensure demo environments are robust, performant, and globally available.
• Develop frameworks and tools that enable repeatable customization of demos for strategic opportunities.
• Guide junior demo engineers and solutions engineers on demo best practices, technical skills, and delivery techniques.
• Provide structured feedback loops to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap based on demo usage and customer reactions.
• Lead training programs and create resources to empower internal stakeholders to deliver high-impact demos.
• Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to ensure technical alignment of early access/beta functionality within the demo environments.

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years in technical roles such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Marketing, or related.
• At least 3 years focused on demo infrastructure or enablement.
• Strong proficiency with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL).
• Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven experience with APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Saleo or equivalent demo environments.
• Ability to design demo systems that align with business objectives and scale with organizational growth.
• Experience mentoring peers and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Skilled at translating complex technical capabilities into compelling customer-facing narratives.

Nice to Have

• Experience building demo automation frameworks or self-service demo platforms.
• Strong background in SaaS or enterprise software, particularly in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, or data infrastructure solutions.
• Experience working directly with global sales organizations to support strategic pursuits.
