About this role Become part of our forward-thinking Digital Team as a Senior Data Analyst and transform our business landscape through sophisticated data modeling, integration, and analytical capabilities. This permanent, full-time position within the Applications, Data and Integration team provides an extraordinary opportunity to collaborate with a tight-knit group of specialists, including Data Scientists, BI Experts, and Application Professionals. By developing our emerging data ecosystem, your contributions will generate substantial impact through implementing data models and workflows that enable meaningful, actionable analytics, driving positive organizational transformation. Key responsibilities - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to capture data and reporting requirements, translating them into scalable, effective analytical solutions. - Construct and maintain pristine, dependable datasets utilizing SQL and Python within Databricks, supporting both operational reporting and strategic analysis. - Create and deliver compelling dashboards and reports via Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making. - Leverage Python/pySpark in Databricks to automate data preparation, analysis, and reporting processes. - Facilitate development and enhancement of data pipelines and methodologies alongside data specialists, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility. - Engage with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, collaborating with engineering teams to guarantee secure, reliable, and well-integrated data solutions. Skills & experience - Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and transforming extensive datasets across multiple sources. - Comprehensive Python/pySpark expertise, especially within Databricks, for data manipulation, analysis, and automation. - Practical experience in Databricks, including notebook, workflow, and collaborative data development familiarity. - Proven track record constructing dashboards and data models in Power BI or equivalent BI platforms. - Comfort working with cloud-based data environments, preferably Azure. - Capacity to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in delivering data solutions. - Understanding of data management best practices, including governance, quality, and documentation.
