About the Role

Duet is hiring a Senior Credentialing Analyst to be our first dedicated credentialing hire. You will own and drive credentialing operations, ensuring excellence in quality and compliance as we empower Nurse Practitioners to lead their own practices and tackle the primary care crisis.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the end-to-end credentialing process for our network of nurse practitioners.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of both delegated and non-delegated credentialing end-to-end processes.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and verifications of healthcare providers' credentials by directly contacting primary sources.
  • Collaborate on, coordinate and support credentialing committee activities, including scheduling, preparation, facilitation, and documentation of meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with and stay abreast of changes to legal and regulatory standards, including NCQA and National Practitioner Data Bank guidelines.
  • Leverage technology platforms and software systems to streamline credentialing processes, maintain records, and enhance efficiency.
  • Facilitate and participate in payor meetings.
  • Collaborate with RCM on credentialing and enrollment related claims projects and denials.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in provider credentialing and privileging processes.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of credentialing principles, industry regulations, state and federal law, and accreditation standards.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Experience with credentialing platforms and related software.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferable in a related area of study.

Nice to Have

  • Early-stage startup background.
  • Primary care setting experience.
  • Familiarity with EHRs, billing/coding systems, and value-based care.

You will be the first credentialing hire at Duet, reporting directly to the COO. We are building a vertically integrated platform for NP practices to thrive as standalone businesses.
