Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of 47 hourly, nonunion appliance service technicians across key markets including Salt Lake City, Denver, Seattle, and Portland. This remote management role centers on driving performance, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering results through consistent coaching, data-informed planning, and on-site engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow a distributed workforce to meet operational targets and service excellence standards
- Conduct regular team meetings, on-site training, safety audits, and performance reviews across the region
- Analyze customer feedback and operational metrics to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions
- Coach technicians through complex customer interactions and service challenges
- Oversee profit and loss for assigned regions, ensuring cost-effective service delivery
- Maintain compliance with safety programs and reduce recordable incidents to support workers’ compensation goals
- Apply deep understanding of appliance service standards and field operations to guide team decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or seven years of equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of seven years of work experience, including at least two years in a supervisory role
- Proven experience managing a P&L or cost center
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the region
- Must reside within commutable distance to Salt Lake City, Denver, Seattle, or Portland
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team facilitation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
