Red Hat is looking for a Senior Consultant, Ansible - FSI to drive the adoption of our automation solutions at key Financial Services accounts. As a specialist in Ansible Automation Platform, you will build trust with customer teams by aligning their business needs with the real-world capabilities of our technologies.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and delivery of complex Ansible automation solutions for Financial Services customers.
• Architect resilient, secure, and reusable automation frameworks and playbooks.
• Provide expert guidance on effectively leveraging Ansible Automation Platform.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping clients navigate strategic decisions.
• Develop, test, and deploy robust Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections.
• Integrate Ansible with key enterprise platforms including public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and networking infrastructure.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, assessments, and workshops to uncover automation opportunities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues across diverse customer environments.
• Mentor junior consultants and customer teams on automation best practices.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to audiences from engineers to C-level executives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Contribute to Red Hat’s internal knowledge base with reusable assets.
• Stay up-to-date on AAP advancements and automation ecosystem trends.
• Obtain and maintain at least two (2) active Red Hat certifications relevant to the role.

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in architecting and delivering automation-first solutions across enterprise environments.
• Deep experience with automation tools, including Ansible (required).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, Salt, and PowerShell.
• Proficiency in scripting and infrastructure-as-code languages: Python, YAML, and Bash.
• Proven success implementing solutions from design through delivery as part of project teams.
• Previous consulting experience, ideally within large-scale transformation or automation initiatives.
• Experience building or integrating CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms.
• Solid understanding of the business case for automation in complex IT environments.
• Working knowledge of security principles across infrastructure, OS, cloud, and hypervisors.
• Comfort working across distributed teams and open-source ecosystems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and evolving with industry best practices.

Nice to Have

• Active Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) credentials.
• Experience with Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) and writing custom modules/plugins in Python.
• Proven track record of migrating enterprise workloads from Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack to Ansible Automation Platform.
• Experience integrating Ansible with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Familiarity with automating network devices (Cisco, Arista, Juniper).
• Prior experience in the Financial Services industry (banking, trading, insurance).
