Parsons Transportation Group is hiring a Senior Connected Vehicle and Tolling Lead to function as a senior leader designing and deploying state-of-the-art software solutions. You will focus on the iNET Product to integrate ITS assets and develop advanced ITS designs, Special Provisions, and technical procedures.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a senior technical leader within the ITS/Smart Mobility Group.
- Create enhanced technical solutions to meet client and regulatory requirements and improve work processes.
- Research, analyze, and organize statistics or other technical materials for specific applications.
- Independently work on ITS designs and specification submittals, collaborating with other ITS design team members.
- Participate in business development activities, supporting proposal preparation and formal client presentations.
- Keep abreast of technological developments related to your area of expertise.
- Participate in one or more professional organizations.
- Write and/or review articles for publication in professional journals.
- Provide technical direction to others to ensure products or services meet established project requirements.
- Supervise or mentor subordinates and provide input on performance.
- Oversee project development and coordinate teams of developers to meet design standards.
- Plan, track, and schedule deliverables, often using agile processes like sprint planning.
What We're Looking For
- An Engineering degree.
- 15+ years of Connected Vehicle (CV) experience.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Nice to Have
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification.
