TD Insurance is hiring a Senior Compliance Business Oversight Manager. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) program for Corporate Functions. As part of the Second Line Compliance Function, you will provide objective advice and independent challenge to Oversight Functions and Risk Owners, ensuring TD operates within regulatory standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead, develop and coach a team responsible for Second Line oversight of the RCM Framework and Standards.
- Develop deep subject matter expertise in RCM and Compliance Oversight programs to effectively oversee regulatory compliance risk.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Compliance programs.
- Provide trusted advice, guidance, review, and challenge to Oversight Functions and Risk Owners.
- Lead complex discussions with Executive stakeholders, gain consensus, and drive appropriate outcomes.
- Articulate regulatory compliance risk issues in a simplified manner for communication to Executive Committees and the Board.
- Develop a strong understanding of the federated model and lines of defense to deliver on mandate.
- Prepare Executive communication, briefing materials, policies, standards, and departmental procedures.
- Develop strong partnerships with other Compliance Units, including US Compliance, on RCM Program requirements.
- Champion Compliance Programs by leading initiatives, forums, and representing the function at meetings and working groups.
- Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements to assess potential impacts.
- Provide thought leadership and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate degree.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
