Worley is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to take on complex engineering challenges and lead small teams. Building on our past and ready for the future, you will play a key role in defining project deliverables and driving results.
What You'll Do
- Take responsibility for the execution and allocation of complex or high-difficulty engineering work.
- Lead small groups in projects or work teams.
- Make responsible decisions for defining the course of engineering deliverables, drawings, and modeling.
- Plan and organize tasks on assigned projects for yourself and team members.
- Receive, manage, and carry out assignments related to engineering projects with specific objectives and priorities.
- Work in and lead teams of up to 10 people reporting directly.
- Maintain constant and effective communication with the work team to inform and persuade on complex matters.
- Build constructive and effective relationships across the organization.
- Work in a team with visibility to high-level stakeholders, linking with multiple teams.
- Achieve established results by yourself and others, meeting defined deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- More than 10 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Competent knowledge of regulations, codes, design and manufacturing standards, and standard industry practices.
- Solid knowledge in project cost estimation and writing proposal content.
- Experience performing conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for projects in industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, and Infrastructure.
- Competent use of Microsoft 365 and Office tools.
- Competent and efficient work in specialized design, analysis, and modeling tools, and interdisciplinary data-centric methods.

Team & Environment
You will work in teams of up to 10 people reporting directly, either participating or leading. The role may involve supervising activities or having supervision for determining accuracy, integrity, and compliance. You will report to a Discipline Manager or local Engineering Manager.
