This is a fixed-term role for Austria, covering a maternity leave until approximately 31 August 2027. As Senior Category Manager, you will lead the strategic direction of multiple product categories, ensuring alignment with national business goals in a rapidly evolving online retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate company and country objectives into actionable category plans, monitoring performance and adjusting strategies to maintain target outcomes.
- Partner with Controlling and Country Management during annual planning and forecasting cycles, delivering market intelligence and data-backed insights to shape financial decisions.
- Refine the product assortment and onboarding approach, including bundled offerings, to improve average order value and profitability while maintaining broad market relevance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams such as Pricing, Procurement, Conversion Rate Optimization, Marketplace, and CRM, ensuring coordinated execution of category initiatives.
- Supervise a team of three Category Managers, supporting their professional development and promoting efficient, scalable workflows.
Leadership & Collaboration
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across departments, providing strategic input on country-specific projects and contributing to long-term growth. Your leadership will help maintain momentum in category performance while fostering a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
