Responsibilities
- Joins overhead and underground telecommunications cables through splicing techniques
- Assists with cable entry and overhead tray setup in pre-assembled communication shelters
- Cuts, measures, installs, and tests fiber and copper cabling in accordance with specified test protocols
- Maintains correct and consistent cable identification and labeling per standard C.5.2.5
- Oversees and guides entry-level technicians in daily tasks and procedures
