About the Role
This role leads policy and public affairs strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, focusing on government engagement, regulatory advocacy, and stakeholder collaboration to support market access and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of regional policy strategies aligned with business objectives
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across DACH countries
- Represent the organization in interactions with government bodies and regulatory agencies
- Build and maintain relationships with key policymakers and public health stakeholders
- Advocate for favorable policy environments supporting medical innovation
- Coordinate cross-border public affairs initiatives across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland
- Prepare position papers, policy briefs, and regulatory submissions
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to local requirements
- Support market access strategies through policy intelligence and advocacy
- Engage with industry associations to influence healthcare policy
- Respond to public consultations on regulatory and legislative proposals
- Lead crisis preparedness and response in policy-related matters
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on political and regulatory risks
- Manage external consultants and agencies supporting public affairs activities
- Track and report on policy-related KPIs and engagement outcomes
- Ensure alignment of messaging across internal stakeholders and geographies
