Centene is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst to act as a key liaison between business and IT stakeholders, translating complex requirements into technical specifications that align with strategic goals. In this role, you will be the primary driver for Power BI adoption and utilization across the team, leveraging data to improve health outcomes globally.
What You'll Do
- Lead Power BI adoption and utilization across the team, including reporting on progress and maintaining inventory data.
- Deliver high-quality All Hands meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews by guiding data collection, shaping compelling narratives, and coaching teams.
- Gather and validate business and technology requirements to establish project scope, impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
- Analyze requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, comprehensible functional requirements for developers and project teams.
- Create system and business process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction.
- Interpret user requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to business stakeholders.
- Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, enforcing and redefining as necessary.
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of requirements to project managers, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Monitor and review IT service levels specified in service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Research and analyze the effectiveness of existing requirement-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancement.
- Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
- Provide references for users by writing and maintaining documentation, offering help desk support, and training users.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and 4 – 6 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Power BI Toolsets and data processing.
- Knowledge of IT support operations.
- Knowledge of business analysis, creating and narrating insightful metrics, and developing scalable business processes.
