Responsibilities
- Analyze user behavior and product usage patterns to identify trends

- Translate business questions into data queries and statistical models
- Collaborate with product managers to define success metrics
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on feature adoption and retention
- Identify data quality issues and work with engineering to resolve them
- Present findings to stakeholders using clear visualizations and narratives
- Optimize existing reporting infrastructure for scalability
- Support A/B testing design and interpretation of results
- Ensure data governance and compliance with privacy standards
- Partner with data engineering to improve data pipeline efficiency
- Create documentation for analytical processes and data dictionaries
- Monitor product health through automated alert systems
- Drive root cause analysis for unexpected metric changes
- Assist in forecasting product growth and user engagement
- Evaluate customer segmentation strategies using behavioral data
- Improve data accessibility for non-technical teams
- Lead ad hoc strategic analyses for executive decision-making
- Integrate qualitative feedback with quantitative data sets
- Refine data models to reflect evolving product architecture
- Promote a culture of experimentation and data literacy
- Track competitive landscape using external benchmarking
- Support integration of new data sources into analytics platforms
- Coordinate with UX research to validate product hypotheses
- Ensure alignment between analytics output and business goals
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in data science, analytics, or related field
- Experience with machine learning applications in product contexts
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms like BigQuery or Redshift
