Ripple was looking for a Senior Business Development Manager

Shape the future of financial technology by building strategic alliances that accelerate the adoption of blockchain solutions. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you'll play a central role in expanding a global ecosystem by identifying and securing partnerships with financial institutions, enterprises, and blockchain-native organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and lead end-to-end partnership deals, from initial outreach through negotiation, closure, and implementation
  • Create persuasive business cases and presentations tailored to enterprise and institutional stakeholders
  • Manage the global deal pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment across regions and teams
  • Collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to assess opportunities and drive internal approvals
  • Monitor performance metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and enhance team productivity
  • Maintain strong engagement with key players in the European blockchain and fintech communities
  • Represent the organization at conferences, industry forums, and high-level partner discussions
  • Stay informed on regulatory shifts, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in digital assets

What You Bring

  • Minimum of five years in business development, sales, or partnership roles within fintech, financial services, or blockchain
  • Proven success in closing complex, high-value agreements with large organizations
  • Strong operational background in pipeline management, deal tracking, and performance analysis
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team-wide goals and process improvements
  • Skilled in building trust with C-suite and senior decision-makers
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making experience
  • Familiarity with cross-functional, global team environments
  • Solid understanding of blockchain, distributed ledgers, and their financial applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a track record of delivering results in fast-moving environments
