As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing strategies that accelerate revenue growth, engage pivotal partners, and enhance our worldwide service offerings. The preferred candidate demonstrates expertise in driving strategic initiatives and leading interdepartmental teams to achieve organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth Execution: Navigate the complete sales process, from identifying potential opportunities with travel agencies and advisors to concluding agreements and cultivating enduring relationships. Partnership Development: Establish robust connections with premier agency partners and travel advisors, generating high-impact engagements and expanding account portfolios. Training & Enablement: Support onboarding and educational programs for emerging travel advisors, ensuring they are fully equipped to leverage Journey Ventures' comprehensive offerings. Account Management: Function as the primary liaison for critical accounts, managing escalations, resolving challenges, and maintaining exceptional client satisfaction. Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with internal departments (Support, Product, etc.) to guarantee seamless client experiences and advocate for product improvements based on customer insights. Travel: Represent Journey Ventures at industry conferences, client meetings, and professional events. Travel may comprise approximately one week monthly, with flexibility to meet business requirements (including weekends). The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience: 3-5 years of business development background with demonstrated success in leading growth and strategic initiatives. Ownership & Leadership: A proactive approach and robust commitment to business expansion objectives. Strategic Mindset: Proven capability in executing growth strategies and delivering consistent results across diverse account segments. Cross-functional Experience: Exceptional collaboration skills to effectively interact with internal departments and champion client requirements. Attention to Detail: Keen problem-solving focus, client-centric approach, and commitment to surpassing expectations. Adaptability: Capacity to operate autonomously in a fully remote environment while effectively managing multiple priorities. Requirements: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for business purposes (including potential weekend travel). Flexibility in work hours, with potential early morning or evening adjustments to accommodate travel schedules.
