About the Role
This position provides legal and administrative support for preclinical contracting activities, including drafting, reviewing, and managing agreements, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and maintaining contract documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Draft and review preclinical research agreements and related legal documents
- Collaborate with legal and scientific teams to finalize contract terms
- Maintain accurate records of executed contracts and amendments
- Track contract timelines and key milestones using internal systems
- Support due diligence and audit preparation processes
- Coordinate signature workflows and approvals across departments
- Ensure compliance with internal legal and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the development and updating of contract templates
- Communicate with external partners regarding contract status
- Monitor expiration dates and renewal options in active contracts
- Organize and manage electronic contract repositories
- Provide status updates to legal managers and project leads
- Identify and escalate potential contractual risks
- Support cross-functional initiatives involving legal documentation
- Participate in process improvement projects within the legal team
- Assist with onboarding of new research partners
- Prepare summaries of contract terms for internal stakeholders
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive research and legal data
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standard operating procedures
- Support training efforts for contract-related tools and systems
