About the Role

Continental is hiring a (Senior) Area Sales Manager Fleet to drive sales and build strategic partnerships in the Berlin/Brandenburg region (Berlin - Potsdam - Neubrandenburg). You will be responsible for acquiring and managing large customers, building long-term relationships, and marketing Continental group products as part of Vergölst GmbH, a subsidiary of Continental.

What You'll Do

  • Continuously acquire and manage large customers across the entire sales territory, including end consumers, branch companies, corporate headquarters, and subsidiaries.
  • Build long-term customer relationships with a focus on marketing Continental group products.
  • Conduct and evaluate fleet checks and provide technical support for customer fleets in close coordination with Continental.
  • Monitor planning values, contribution margins, and sales developments to ensure target achievement.
  • Take responsibility for adherence to credit limits and accounts receivable management within your assigned customer area.
  • Ensure collaboration with specialist departments, regions, and central departments through continuous information exchange.

What We're Looking For

  • A completed commercial or technical education, preferably in the tire trade or a comparable qualification.
  • Field sales experience.
  • Solid knowledge of vehicle technology and tire products.
  • Customer and service-oriented behavior.
  • Strong negotiation skills and confident appearance with customers.
  • Entrepreneurial action, assertiveness, and excellent communication skills.
  • Structured and organizational skills as well as pronounced team skills.
  • Basic IT knowledge and affinity for diverse IT applications.
  • A valid Class B driver's license.
