As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you will play a central role in guiding projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical precision and design integrity. Based in our Cardiff studio, you'll lead internal teams, oversee project execution, and take ownership of detailed design development and specification writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of complex, large-scale projects, often exceeding £20 million in value
- Develop detailed design proposals in close collaboration with small, integrated teams
- Manage end-to-end project workflows, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and respond to intricate design queries from clients and consultants
- Coordinate with external consultants and manage multi-disciplinary inputs across concurrent projects
- Delegate tasks effectively to junior staff and support their professional growth
- Oversee project fees and invoicing in coordination with administrative support
- Contribute to business development by supporting proposals and helping win new commissions
- Maintain strong client relationships with minimal supervision throughout project lifecycles
