Stride Treglown is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Cardiff team. You will lead project teams and deliver large-scale, high-quality projects with a focus on technical proficiency and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Run several on-site projects simultaneously, clearly delegating to less experienced team members.
- Lead project teams, write full specifications, and regularly lead or manage small teams internally.
- Manage your own workload while supervising others.
- Answer complex queries from a range of internal and external clients, including coordinating with other consultants.
- Manage client relationships, becoming involved at any stage of the process and contributing effectively with minimal briefing.
- Run multiple or complex projects from start to finish, to the satisfaction of the client, profitably and on time.
- Take the lead role in taking a project brief for technical delivery stages, developing initial proposals for detail design in conjunction with a small team.
- Manage fees and invoicing for projects with administrative assistance.
- Contribute to winning new work.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in running large-scale projects valued at £20m+.
- Capable of managing and delegating workload to more junior team members and/or outsourcing partners.
- Able to manage a small team and work independently.
- Flexible in your approach to a project.
- Someone who cares about creating and delivering great buildings and places.
- Eager to share experience and knowledge with others working on projects across the company.
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Interest in innovative offsite / Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and net zero carbon buildings.
- Eager to work on a range of projects and in a range of sectors within our Bristol studio.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Regional Director and manage a small team within the Cardiff studio.
Work Mode
This role is based onsite in our Cardiff location.
