Scotiabank is looking for a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Financial Review & U.S. Liquidity to join a purpose-driven, high-performing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily and month-end enterprise liquidity reporting production, data validation, and adjustments to meet OSFI regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Prepare manual adjustments to daily, weekly, and monthly LCR, NCCF, and NSFR reporting.
- Perform various data validation checks to identify data issues from daily production.
- Assist in monthly reviews of enterprise liquidity data against the bank’s EGL and other benchmarks.
- Review and update EUC tables consumed by LRDC and ISL for enterprise reporting.
- Review net new counterparty data for liquidity reporting.
- For project releases, assist in writing BRDs, establishing test cases and benchmarks, and performing UAT testing within regulatory and operational frameworks.
- Maintain up-to-date operational procedures.
- Assist in responding to regulator or management queries.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting enterprise liquidity reporting and data validation for regulatory compliance, preferably within a Canadian financial institution.
- Proven ability to prepare manual adjustments and perform detailed data validation checks.
- Strong understanding of OSFI regulatory requirements and liquidity metrics (LCR, NCCF, NSFR).
- Experience reviewing and managing EUC (End-User Computing) tables and data.
- Ability to assist with project tasks, including writing BRDs, developing test cases, and performing UAT.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate operational procedures.
- Strong communication skills for responding to queries from regulators and management.
