Global Payments is looking for a Senior Analyst - Data Enablement (Business Intelligence Analyst) to join our technology organization. You will provide value-added financial analysis, modeling, and operational insights to enhance decision-making across the business, with a particular focus on our data center migration. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with finance and governance policies while driving performance.
What You'll Do
- Recommend pricing initiatives, track performance, and help influence margin.
- Work with ISOs on their pricing and incentives to create mutually beneficial outcomes that increase Global’s income.
- Analyze financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data from various platforms compared to plans, forecasts, and prior year results.
- Research, analyze, and report on financial and accounting inquiries for the division.
- Routinely communicate with sales on partner reporting.
- Use data science methods to create complex models for retention, pricing, and other operational insights and strategy.
- Prepare and analyze the periodic management reporting of financial results for the project.
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management.
- Create client-facing dashboards that give our referral partners insights to incentivize future business.
- Manage hiring an additional analyst with capacity for business analytics.
- Manage teams remotely.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial performance management, analysis, and decision support.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, generate alternatives, and clearly communicate findings to drive positive change.
- Ability to grasp understanding of business models and key drivers quickly and independently.
- Ability to make effective presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management and personnel.
- Demonstrated proficiency with expert-level Excel.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize assignments and work effectively under time constraints.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of US GAAP.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, research, and analysis skills.
- Proven record of financial planning and strategy decisions.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and deliver timely and accurate results with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, and team environment, performing cross-functional duties as required.
- Understanding of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ability to adapt quickly, learn new tasks independently, and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to generate bold, creative ideas to improve performance.
- Self-directed with strong motivation and willingness to take initiative and lead projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback and partner with people at all levels and locations.
- Flexible, team and customer service oriented, able and willing to learn.

- Experience with Hyperion EPBCS and/or Oracle ERP systems preferred.
