SRG Global Mining Services is hiring a Senior Analyst to support clients in uplifting their IT governance, risk, and control frameworks. You will plan, manage, and deliver IT assurance and technology risk engagements, providing clear insights to senior stakeholders and contributing to business development.
What You'll Do
- Support clients to uplift their IT governance, risk, and control frameworks and operating models as a trusted advisor.
- Plan, manage and deliver a broad range of IT assurance and technology risk engagements.
- Deliver clear, practical insights and recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to enhance IT risk management, internal audit and control assurance approaches.
- Develop strong relationships internally and externally, contributing to thought leadership.
- Support business development activities, including proposals and client pursuits.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years’ experience in IT internal audit, technology risk, advisory or consulting, with exposure to managing engagements or workstreams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience designing, assessing or testing technology controls within Internal Audit, an in-house assurance function or external audit environment.
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality reports, proposals and presentations for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness, including experience supporting business development and building trusted client relationships.
Nice to Have
- Experience delivering technology assurance engagements within professional services, with familiarity in standards such as ASAE 3150, SOC 1 and SOC 2 highly regarded.
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or similar.
- Exposure to APRA prudential standards including CPS 234 (Information Security), CPS 230 (Operational Risk Management) and CPG 235 (Managing Data Risk).
