L'Oréal is looking for an EHS Apprentice for its factory in Vichy. This apprenticeship (alternance) offers a hands-on role within the EHS department, where you will contribute directly to fostering a strong safety culture and implementing key environmental, health, and safety initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Conduct ergonomic analyses in partnership with operational teams.
- Facilitate exchanges with field teams to define best practices and build action plans.
- Contribute to monitoring and preparing for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certifications.
- Participate in updating the Document Unique d’Évaluation des Risques (DUER).
- Deploy EHS management tools, including risk analyses, standard audits, and prevention programs.
- Work on cross-functional projects to improve environmental performance by reducing water, CO₂, and waste consumption.
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a Bac +4/5 level program (Master 1 or 2) in Management, Risk Management, Safety, Environment, or a chemical/general engineering degree with a safety specialty.
- Strong sensitivity to EHS topics and a desire to work in a demanding industrial setting.
- Proficiency with digital tools and analytical methods.
- Autonomous, rigorous, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong facilitation skills and enjoyment from collaborating across different departments.
- Availability starting September 2026 for a duration of 1 or 2 years.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the EHS department, working closely with teams across the Vichy industrial site.
