L'Oréal is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to be the pillar of the safety culture at our Montreal plant. Reporting directly to the Plant Director, you will be responsible for transforming safety from a regulatory requirement into a true culture of interdependence shared by all. This role drives the risk prevention strategy to ensure employee integrity and site compliance.
What You'll Do
- Define and deploy the EHS (Health & Safety) policy, track performance indicators, and lead dedicated committees to embed safety at the heart of operations.
- Conduct risk analyses, lead incident investigations, and manage industrial hygiene programs to anticipate and control hazards.
- Act as a safety entrepreneur by developing impactful training, awareness campaigns, and coaching managers on the ground.
- Ensure rigorous regulatory monitoring, guarantee compliance of new equipment, and maintain the emergency response plan at an excellent level.

- Mastery of standards like ISO 45001 and relevant legislation.
