About the Role

L'Oréal is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to be the pillar of the safety culture at our Montreal plant. This role drives the risk prevention strategy to ensure employee integrity and site compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Define and deploy the EHS (Health & Safety) policy, track performance indicators, and lead dedicated committees to embed safety at the heart of operations.
  • Conduct risk analyses, lead incident investigations, and manage industrial hygiene programs to anticipate and control hazards.
  • Act as a safety entrepreneur by developing impactful training, awareness campaigns, and coaching managers on the ground.
  • Ensure rigorous regulatory monitoring, guarantee compliance of new equipment, and maintain the emergency response plan at an excellent level.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid experience in health and safety in an industrial environment.
  • Influential leadership with the ability to mobilize teams and management.
  • Expertise in risk analysis and mitigation.
  • Ease in pedagogical communication at all levels.
  • Rigor and agility with analytical sense and reactivity in the face of unforeseen events.
  • Mastery of standards like ISO 45001 and relevant legislation.

Team & Environment

You will report to the Plant Director and be a key leader in our bold Operations team, which creates sustainable and inclusive beauty.

Benefits & Compensation

  • An environment where you can step out of your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential.
  • Real responsibilities from day one.
  • An inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds are accepted, can express themselves, thrive, and are celebrated.
  • A place where you can contribute to something bigger, with many brands supporting societal and environmental causes.
