Desjardins Group is hiring a Senior Advisor, IT architecture

Desjardins Group is looking for a Senior Advisor, IT Architecture to design IT solutions that meet project business needs while aligning with our architecture targets and shared platforms. You will ensure solution consistency with the organization’s structure and future direction, influence stakeholders on strategic initiatives, and act as a key specialist advisor and coach.

What You'll Do

• Act as an architecture team member and specialized advisor to sectors on application solutions and operations architecture.
• Serve as an integrator for one or more delivery teams for projects and initiatives with significant organizational impact.
• Advise business partners and stakeholders to help orient, plan, develop, configure, execute, and monitor innovative technology solutions.
• Design IT solutions that meet business needs and oversee the development of policies and standards.
• Identify and analyze potential IT solutions that meet the organization’s needs, and identify and analyze issues.
• Report major issues, diagnose problems, establish guidelines, and make recommendations to decision-making bodies.
• Represent the unit before decision-making bodies and committees.
• Represent Desjardins when making agreements with external partners and organizations.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Strong Interpersonal Savvy.
• A demonstrated Strategic mindset.

Team & Environment

Coordination is critical in this role, as you will interact with a very large number of stakeholders working in a wide range of fields.
