Logical is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining precise financial operations and delivering reliable financial reports for a diverse range of clients. You'll play a key part in financial management, audit support, tax compliance, and client relationship management.
What You'll Do
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for clients.
- Manage and execute account reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are precise and up-to-date.
- Monitor and analyze expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Support the development of financial reports for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Work with clients and auditors to address audit findings and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws to provide accurate advice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their business needs.
- Ensure accurate and organized documentation of financial transactions and client interactions.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and ensure excellent client service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as business development.
- Provide guidance to junior accountants, reviewing their work for accuracy and compliance.
- Foster a collaborative work environment that supports professional growth.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and other relevant regulations.
- Utilize accounting software and technology tools to streamline financial processes and manage client accounts.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the accounting or tax industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks Online.
Nice to Have
- Public Accounting experience.
- CPA certification.
