Cash Offer, LLC is hiring a Senior Accountant to play a critical role in the financial leadership of our growing real estate investment platform. This is a hands-on role with broader ownership and executive exposure, offering a clear path into higher-level finance leadership as the company scales.
What You'll Do
- Oversee accounting for a multi-state portfolio of multifamily and commercial assets.
- Lead month-end close and financial statement reviews.
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, mortgage tie-outs, and fixed assets.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit-readiness of all financials.
- Oversee bank activity including wires, transfers, and ACH transactions.
- Maintain internal controls and approval workflows.
- Monitor cash positions and support treasury-related decisions.
- Support investor reporting, capital activity, and distribution calculations.
- Maintain investor funding logs and ownership records.
- Coordinate with third-party CPAs on tax filings, K-1s, and entity documentation.
- Assist with legal documentation, Blue Sky filings, and ownership assignments.
- Support acquisitions and dispositions from a financial compliance standpoint.
- Provide analytical support to executive leadership and investment teams.
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems and workflows for scalability.
- Partner with leadership on implementing new financial systems and reporting tools.
- Oversee payroll and HRIS integrations for a team of approximately 10–50 associates.
- Ensure clean data flow between accounting, payroll, and HR systems.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of accounting experience, with senior-level exposure in real estate or property management accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and U.S. accounting standards.
- Experience managing complex, multi-entity accounting environments.
- High attention to detail with the ability to own work end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills and comfort partnering with executives.
- Proven ability to improve processes, not just follow them.
Nice to Have
- Experience with fund accounting, waterfalls, and preferred returns.
- Familiarity with syndications or private equity real estate structures.
- Understanding of Fair Market Valuation considerations for IRA investors.
- CPA and/or MBA.
- Experience scaling accounting operations in a growing portfolio.
- Familiarity with EOS-driven or operator-led organizations.
Team & Environment
You will be part of a team of approximately 10–50 associates, reporting directly to the CFO.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary Range: $90,000 – $115,000
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Central Standard Time (CST) is preferred for collaboration.
