Univar Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant – Consolidations to play a key role within the Windsor Controlling group. This position administers foundational elements of the global financial consolidation and closing process, supports global intercompany management, and contributes to quarterly external financial reporting.

What You'll Do

Administer the monthly global consolidation process, including recording and reviewing consolidating entries and reconciling intercompany accounts.
Facilitate monthly deliverables to support the internal reporting process and financial statement reviews.
Support regional and local accounting teams by offering assistance and expertise during the monthly close.
Assist in preparing footnotes and related disclosures for the quarterly external reporting process.
Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure policy compliance.
Serve as a key point of contact during the quarterly review and annual audit with external auditors.
Participate in ad-hoc projects as requested.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
3+ years of accounting experience.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications.
Familiarity with accounting and reporting knowledge (US GAAP).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to influence people and processes without direct responsibility.
Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

An active CPA, or actively advancing toward certification, is preferred.
Experience at a large or multi-national, multi-currency company.
Consolidation experience, including using consolidation systems.
Familiarity with modern consolidations systems (such as OneStream) or ERP systems (such as SAP).
