About the Role

Salesforce is hiring a Senior Account Solution Engineer (also known as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Solution Consultant). In this role, you will be responsible for understanding a client’s business challenges and presenting technology solutions to build confidence in Salesforce's platform and address technical concerns throughout the sales cycle.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate outcome-focused dialogue to understand and define a customer’s strategic objectives by conducting discovery calls and process-based workshops.
  • Partner with prospects and customers to develop a vision for their future on the Salesforce platform, creating a roadmap for both short and long-term goals.
  • Bring that vision to life by configuring and demonstrating the art of the possible on our platform.
  • Establish and communicate a clear point of view on the business value provided by the solution.
  • Participate in trainings and certifications to acquire and maintain relevant skills.
  • Produce deliverables to support the sales cycle, including RFPs and microsites.
  • Collaborate with product and enablement teams to provide feedback from the field and drive solution growth.

  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team to take on business and technical problems.
  • Passion and energy for technology and a desire to learn.
  • Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, and web technology.

Nice to Have

  • Solution Engineer or pre-sales experience.
  • Experience implementing Salesforce, CRM, or equivalent solutions.
  • Experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, including product certifications.
  • Experience working for or with Financial Services organizations.
