About the Role

Repco is hiring an On-Site CSR II (Customer Service Representative II) to ensure customer expectations are accurately determined and fully met. This position works more than 50% of the time at the customer location and provides a critical link between the customer and our operations.

What You'll Do

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry.
  • Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in counter sales.
  • Negotiate sale and purchase prices within parameters to influence gross profit.
  • Adjust non-contract customer pricing based on competition while maximizing profit.
  • Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
  • Order items to maintain appropriate inventory levels for customers.
  • Place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
  • Expedite backorders and handle customer returns.
  • Pull inventory and prepare orders for shipment, determining the most cost-effective shipping method.
  • Source products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventory.
  • Support specific customer(s) and assist less experienced Customer Service Representatives with addressing customer needs, including locating items and resolving problems.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Reliability, organization, and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
  • Ability to multi-task with effective time management.
  • Strong computer skills and strong negotiation skills.
  • Basic product knowledge.

Team & Environment

This role may provide guidance to less experienced Customer Service Representatives.

Work Mode

This role is onsite, working primarily from customer locations.
