Repco is hiring an On-Site CSR II (Customer Service Representative II) to ensure customer expectations are accurately determined and fully met. This position works more than 50% of the time at the customer location and provides a critical link between the customer and our operations.
What You'll Do
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, provide quotes, and handle order entry.
- Place customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods, or walk-in counter sales.
- Negotiate sale and purchase prices within parameters to influence gross profit.
- Adjust non-contract customer pricing based on competition while maximizing profit.
- Build customer relationships to drive repeat business and process improvements.
- Order items to maintain appropriate inventory levels for customers.
- Place orders without approval for orders up to $5,000 per line and $10,000 per purchase order.
- Expedite backorders and handle customer returns.
- Pull inventory and prepare orders for shipment, determining the most cost-effective shipping method.
- Source products from branch, distribution center, or supplier inventory.
- Support specific customer(s) and assist less experienced Customer Service Representatives with addressing customer needs, including locating items and resolving problems.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Reliability, organization, and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening.
- Ability to multi-task with effective time management.
- Strong computer skills and strong negotiation skills.
- Basic product knowledge.
