As a Senior Account Manager, you'll be the maestro managing a portfolio of mid- to large-market clients, building rock-solid broker and client relationships while driving engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This client-facing position perfectly blends strategic account planning, performance tracking, and cross-functional teamwork in a mission-driven, remote-first setting. Expect around 15% travel when needed.

Accountabilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of clients in the 500–5,000 lives segment, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Build and nurture strong broker and client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact.
  • Monitor client health KPIs, proactively address risks, and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and member services teams to achieve client engagement goals.
  • Develop strategic reports, presentations, and meeting content that supports adoption and retention.
  • Execute standardized workflows and best practices to drive retention, satisfaction, and ROI.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing a B2B book of business within the healthcare or employee benefits industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of increasing customer engagement and optimizing SaaS product value.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience working closely with brokers and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
  • High level of autonomy and initiative in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering a premium client experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.
