Devsu is hiring a Senior Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of our most valuable clients. This strategic role drives upsell revenue, account growth, and long-term retention through trusted, consultative partnerships. You will operate with high autonomy, combining commercial ownership, process leadership, and client advocacy to deliver impact.
What You'll Do
- Manage key client relationships as the senior point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market technology clients.
- Drive account growth by identifying, scoping, and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client goals and Devsu’s capabilities.
- Ensure retention and satisfaction by maintaining exceptional client satisfaction and preventing churn through proactive relationship management.
- Develop strategic account plans by creating client-specific growth strategies and success roadmaps aligned with quarterly and annual KPIs.
- Lead commercial & financial ownership including renewal negotiations, pricing discussions, contract changes, and accurate revenue forecasting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Delivery, Operations, and Marketing to ensure impactful, high-quality outcomes.
- Partner with leadership to define and improve scalable account management frameworks, playbooks, and success metrics.
- Mentor and collaborate to share knowledge and help build a culture of account management excellence.
- Represent Devsu at industry events and client engagements to strengthen relationships and visibility.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or enterprise relationship management, ideally within technology services, digital transformation, or software consulting.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding growth and retention goals.
- Experience managing a $2M+ book of business with proven revenue expansion results.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and executive relationship-building skills.
- Solid understanding of technology and digital solutions, with ability to speak confidently to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Proficiency with CRM and reporting tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Ability to travel domestically (estimated 20–30%) for client meetings and industry events.
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-growth technology consultancies or nearshore software development.
- Familiarity with building or scaling account management frameworks from the ground up.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline (MBA a plus).
Team & Environment
Part of the U.S. Growth Team, reporting to the Chief Growth Officer and working closely with Delivery and Operations teams. You will influence and help shape the foundation of a growing Account Management function.
