Portless is looking for a Senior Account Executive to drive the sale of our fulfillment solution to high-growth e-commerce brands. You will own the full sales cycle, hunt new business, and close significant deals that directly impact our company’s trajectory.
What You'll Do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, managing a pipeline of high-value e-commerce brands.
- Proactively hunt for new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and strategic channel partnerships.
- Become a trusted advisor to prospects by deeply understanding their current supply chain, cross-border challenges, and growth objectives.
- Articulate the Portless value proposition, specifically focusing on the financial and operational benefits of the Direct Fulfillment model.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and present customized proposals that solve real-world client problems.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure new business and build long-term partnerships.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Collaborate closely with Solutions Engineering and Operations teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
- Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities in our CRM.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying, closing role within logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain technology.
- Direct experience selling for a modern 3PL, 4PL, or tech-enabled freight forwarder (e.g., ShipBob, ShipMonk, Flexport, Stord, Deliverr, or similar).
- Demonstrated history of being a top performer (top 10%) on your sales team with accolades like President's Club or Winner's Circle.
- Expert in consultative, value-based selling and skilled at managing complex sales cycles with multiple executive-level stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proven ability to build a robust sales pipeline from the ground up through outbound efforts.
- Possess elite presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Driven, hungry for success, and eager to make a significant impact at a high-growth company.
