EY is seeking a Senior/Assistant Manager to join our Assurance team within Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS). In this role, you will specialize in Record to Report (R2R) processes, working closely with FAAS managers and Senior Managers to deliver end-to-end services for clients across the Americas and EMEIA. You will be responsible for ensuring the timeliness and quality of our work, applying strong accounting knowledge under IFRS/US GAAP, and contributing your subject matter expertise in treasury processes.
What You'll Do
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books and variance reporting
- Develop creative, practical solutions to help clients achieve their treasury and business objectives
- Participate in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnel
- Ensure adherence to and achievement of KPIs and SLAs
- Receive direction from Manager and Senior Manager, maintaining effective coordination with multiple stakeholders
- Support the development of tools, methodologies, and new service offerings for project delivery
- Build necessary documents like SOPs and end-user training materials
- Use available guidance on US GAAP/IFRS to provide technical support
- Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork and informing Supervisors of engagement status
- Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion and manage expectations regarding deliverables
- Support the development and management of relationships with external and internal clients
- Participate in the proposal development process for prospective treasury engagements
- Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts and stay informed of professional standards
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor of Commerce, CA (Inter), CWA (Inter), ACCA (UK), DIP (IFR), or a Regular/Part-time MBA from a reputed institute
- 3-6 years of relevant experience in Entity/BU reporting, financial statement close process support, and MIS reporting
- Good understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP
- Working experience in at least three of: Business unit/Entity level reporting, Record to Report, Technical accounting research and advisory, Consolidation and compilation support, Financial statement close process support, or Strong knowledge of Lease accounting
- Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
- Experience working under different ERP packages like SAP
Nice to Have
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification
- Experience with a large global corporate treasury department and/or consulting experience
- Experience in treasury areas: Treasury organizational structure, Financial risk management, Cash flow forecasting, Cash and liquidity management, Bank relationship management, Treasury technology, Debt and investment management, Governance, controls and regulation, M&A support, and Working capital management
- Understanding of SAP S4/Hana public or private cloud
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
