Panic Stations is seeking a Senior 3D Generalist / Tech Artist for a 1-month contract role with potential to extend. You’ll work on a fun, vibrant co-op game, championing art production by touching most art assets and owning the end-to-end pipeline from creation to engine integration.
What You'll Do
- Create game-ready art assets including characters, environments, props, modular kit pieces, and procedural art.
- Work autonomously from high-level art direction, focusing on core elements for rapid output.
- Express the humor and character of the game through your art.
- Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams, as art is systemic.
- Join playtests and contribute to decisions beyond art.
- Identify risks and constraints early and redirect effort when needed.
- Be proactive to keep project momentum, even when blocked or waiting for feedback.
- Own asset integration and workflow inside the engine from start to finish.
- Build practical systems, including modular kits, materials, prefabs, folders, and naming conventions.
- Spot inefficiencies and offer better technical solutions.
- Keep scenes performant without sacrificing the game's creative vision.
What We're Looking For

- Proficient with Unity, specifically asset implementation, lighting, shaders, and materials.
- Comfortable in Blender or able to transition quickly.
